Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

At Onion Creek Ranch, we carefully pack and ship our beef to help ensure it arrives frozen, fresh, and ready for your freezer.

Shipping Schedule

We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays only.

This schedule helps reduce the chance of your package being delayed in transit over a weekend. Orders will be scheduled for shipment based on when they are received and product availability.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your package along the way.

Delivery

Because our beef is shipped frozen, we strongly recommend having someone available to receive your package on the expected delivery day.

Please bring your beef inside as soon as possible after delivery and transfer it directly to your freezer.

It is normal for dry ice to be partially or completely evaporated by the time your order arrives. As long as the beef is still frozen, partially frozen, or refrigerator-cold upon arrival, it can generally be safely transferred to your freezer.

Shipping Delays

Weather, carrier delays, holidays, and other circumstances outside of our control may occasionally affect delivery times.

If we anticipate a delay that could affect the quality of your order, we may hold your shipment until the following Monday or Tuesday rather than risk your beef sitting in transit over a weekend.

Tracking Information

Please provide an accurate email address and mobile phone number at checkout. We may use this information to send shipping updates, tracking information, or contact you regarding your delivery.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making arrangements to receive their shipment.

Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.

Onion Creek Ranch is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or product damage caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.

If you notice an error in your shipping information, please contact us as soon as possible before your order ships.

When Your Beef Arrives

Open your package promptly and place the beef in your freezer.

All Onion Creek Ranch beef is vacuum sealed for maximum freshness. When properly stored, beef can remain in the freezer for up to 12 months, although we recommend using ground beef within approximately 6 months for peak flavor and quality.

Questions or Concerns

If there is an issue with your shipment, please contact Onion Creek Ranch as soon as possible and include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the package and product when applicable.

We appreciate you trusting our family to help fill your freezer with Texas-raised beef!
